Torghast, the game's rogue-like inspired dungeon, is being significantly tweaked, with fewer floors per run and the introduction of a new scoring system. Numerous covenant abilities are being rebalanced too, as are various aspects of the game's dungeons and raids. Many classes are receiving entirely new or reworked PvP talents, and PvP gear will now sport a lower item level than equivalent PvE gear, but will scale to a higher item level while engaged in PvP.

It wouldn't be a patch release without balance changes, and there are plenty of changes coming to the game's classes, systems, and covenants, with PvP in particular receiving a large update. Players will be able to unlock the use of ground mounts in the Maw after completing the introductory quest in Korthia, while earning renown and completing covenant campaign quests will unlock the use of flying mounts in the other Shadowlands zones. In the new Korthia zone, players will team up with the various covenants of the Shadowlands to fight back against the Jailer's forces in new story-campaign quests, while in Tazavesh, a new mythic-only difficulty eight-boss dungeon, players will discover more about the mysterious group known as the Brokers.
